Meet a Versatile Storyteller
At eight years old—too timid to raise my hand in class but bold enough to audition—I was cast as The Old Woman in my first school play, What the Old Man Does is Always Best. That co-starring role ignited a lifelong love for performing, one that carried me from shy student to playing buxom, belting Passionella in The Apple Tree by high school. Like many shy extroverts (in the company of Robin Williams, Meryl Streep, and Timothée Chalamet), I discovered early on the power of stepping into characters vastly different from myself—and I've been doing it ever since.

My Background
With a B.A. in Theatre Arts/Education from the University of Northern Colorado, I began a multi-hyphenate career in the arts, alongside my husband and college sweetheart, in Denver’s vibrant theater community. Over the years, I’ve acted on stage, written, directed, and produced numerous productions, and taught theatre and creative dramatics to students of all ages. My on-camera work includes years of commercials and industrials. Every October for over thirty years, I have performed dramatic readings of Victorian horror stories at the historic Molly Brown House Museum.
My storytelling style is informed by decades of experience working in theatre for young audiences, which makes children’s literature a glove-like fit. I also enjoy narrating middle grade fiction, cozy ghost stories and mysteries, faith-based and self-help books—genres that let me combine character work with emotional truth. Creating distinct voices comes naturally, and I’m comfortable working in a range of accents including American Southern, British RP, Irish, and have a good ear to pick up others if requested.
When I’m not narrating, I’m likely spending time with my husband (still my sweetheart), our grown daughters, grandchildren, and our three dogs—a beagle, a chiweenie, and a mischievous chihuahua-terrorist—I mean, terrier mix, who keeps us all on our toes.
